Artist's Description

Bare trees of a snowless winter are silhouetted against the starry sky. The clouds seem to reflect the moonlight and cast an other worldly aura behind the skeleton trees.

For the trees, I used the black almost straight from the tube with just enough water to allow me to use a straw to blow the paint around and then splattered some paint droplets over it for leaves. The effect is one I really liked. I even employed this technique into some of my other watercolors in the "Winter's Possession" series and have been experimenting with getting a similar effect in my digital artwork.

I have been described as a woman of many interests, talents, and hobbies. My artwork reflects my...
