Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Snakes do not have moveable eyelids. Instead, they have a single scale that covers their eye called an eye cap and it is shed when they shed their skin. This also allows for the healing of scratches. Scientists are studying snakes' eyes to develop better contact lenses. Ball pythons have relatively poor eyesight in comparison to their other senses. It is a common misunderstanding that venemous snakes have slitted pupils while non-venemous snakes have round pupils. Ball pythons have no venom, yet they have slitted eyes, while Taipans, considered one of the most deadly venemous snakes in the world, has round pupils. Pupil shape in snakes is related to their prefered hunting method. Snakes that hunt at night have slitted pupils to allow more light to enter the eye, while those that hunt during the day have round pupils.

My pet snakes' eyes have always intrigugued me. The intelligence behind their eyes is astounding. They calculate everything in their world.

About Angrulla MF

Angrulla MF

I have been creating art for 20+ years in Southern Indiana using graphite pencils, colored pencils, acrylic paint, and watercolor. A large majority of my artwork depicts nature. I do not think that an artist needs to constrain his/herself to only one style of art or medium type. Ultimately, it is the act of creating something that the artists finds pleasing and then sharing that with others that is truly art. I find it sad that artists segregate themselves into groups that are intolerant of changes. With that said, having been taught traditional and purist art techniques, I have chosen to learn from that and go a different direction. I have been described as a woman of many interests, talents, and hobbies. My artwork reflects my...
