That feeling of overwhelming sadness and despair, that makes you want to curl into a ball, cry, and give up.

I'm here to tell you DON'T give up. You mean something to those around you, even if you don't think you will be missed or that others don't care. We can rise above the depression!

I have been creating art for 20+ years in Southern Indiana using graphite pencils, colored pencils, acrylic paint, and watercolor. A large majority of my artwork depicts nature. I do not think that an artist needs to constrain his/herself to only one style of art or medium type. Ultimately, it is the act of creating something that the artists finds pleasing and then sharing that with others that is truly art. I find it sad that artists segregate themselves into groups that are intolerant of changes. With that said, having been taught traditional and purist art techniques, I have chosen to learn from that and go a different direction.
